Hey! Thanks for being here. I’m Miriam and I have this site so you can get to know a bit about me. I reside in Carefree Arizona with my husband, two dogs, and sometimes one of our three grown daughters. It’s the kind of place where you might see a horse tied up next to a motorcycle, a truck, and occasionally a limo next to that. To me, writing is so much more than letters and symbols arranged on a piece of paper. I believe words have astonishing power and can be used with remarkable influence for both readers and writers of which I’m both. My writing stems from a life lived and the multiple perspectives of mother, wife, mental health nurse, foster care alumni, Christian, and entrepreneur. I’m fascinated by other people’s stories. I write from the soul, the gut, the heart, and once in a while my head. My motivation is to educate and promote understanding by helping people step into each other’s shoes for just the briefest moment.
